Imagining smart furniture that will bring unprecedented comfort, health benefits, and lifestyle changes for everyone.
I am a seasoned furniture manufacturer with over two decades of experience, and I can confidently say I have seen the industry change in great ways. But undoubtedly, the biggest game changer has been the new age smart furniture. Amazingly, I dreamt of a future last night in which technology and furniture work in tandem to comfortably furnished homes and make our lives easier.
I walked through a house in my dream – each piece of furniture knowing who and what was happening inside the room. The bed in the bedroom, while also conforming to my ideal firmness, also analyzed my sleep and regulated the temperature in the room to maximize my rest. It offered such an intrinsic level of comfort and health benefits that a new level of living that I never thought of before was almost promised.
Then , I came across a smart desk in a sunny home office that was one of the standouts. It lifted to the right height every time, so I just cinched it up, plugged it in, sat down and noticed my body tensing and then relaxed back upwards. In fact, this desk was a godsend amongst the populations of work from home professionals, and in-home-office enthusiasts to maintain their working rhythm and own health. The good it did to people’s lives reinforced my decision to stick on this new path.

This dream home was all about health and wellness. The walls were very beautiful, which calmed the body and soul. They were beautiful colors that put the mind in a good mood. They were used to ergonomic chairs with posture-correcting technology and smart mattresses that kept them controlled and sleeping on one side. In addition to all this, these pieces provided more than just a quick relief: they fostered health benefits, thus they should be priceless new things to any household.

It also favored making sustainability a reality at large. On the smart end, a lot of the pieces included energy-saving elements to reflect our environmentally-conscious manufacturing practices. Smarter, greener living environments were both inventive and responsible – a blend of artificial intelligence and sustainable materials.
I awoke from this dream with a newfound optimism for what lay ahead for the furniture industry. Technology has helped us remain competitive and offer solutions that truly make a difference in the lives of our customers. A futuristic vision, but one that is very much grounded in reality, as the automated home filled with smart, responsive, individualized furniture would indeed be our dream home. Smart organization, the ways in which technology can be integrated into desks to create a seamless work environment with augmented messaging and meetings. I am glad to be a part of this fascinating development.
